These basecoat colors can stand alone or serve as a base for a range of kandy colors. House of Kolor paint is a 1K basecoat that must be clear-coated. We suggest either or  We offer the paint unreduced or ready to spray. Unreduced means that you will need to reduce the paint with RU311 reducer at a 2:1 ratio. Ready to spray means that we have already reduced the paint and it is ready to use with your gun.

[K2238 Macabre is voodoo violette kandy mixed with indigo pearl, making this stunning dark purple that shows the pearl in the light and looks completely black in the shadow. To achieve the pictured shade, you must use House of Kolor KD3001 black primer below this color. This will not be the sample purple over white or silver!! For kandy basecoats a black base is a must, because House of Kolor formulated these colors to provide the best representation and flop/pearl effect over black. You can use other base colors, but the results will vary widely. Test sprays are highly recommended for this reason.]
